From Belgium, we are actively contributing to the International Solidarity Convoy to Ukraine through Europees Netwerk voor Steun aan Oekraïne / Comité belge du Réseau européen de solidarité Ukraine , together with our friends and partner organizations.
Among other things, we aim to fund a shipment of life-saving fire extinguishers. We are organizing this shipment in collaboration with our friends of Steun Oekraïens Verzet (Support the Ukrainian Resistance), who have built up a great deal of experience in this area. In addition, we hope to raise sufficient funds for other urgently needed and life-saving items: generators, medical equipment, etc.
Due to the current sharp rise in fuel prices, a single lorry journey costs around €5,000. We are therefore appealing to all of you to help us raise this amount – and hopefully more – together.
